Look like to me, Men ought to want to have something like this in the house. These men are well groomed, well presented, and with such style, vibrant health, and classic elegance; it is all world class. Granted, there are a few sword fights, but it doesn't detract, you are either gay or not, homo or not, and so on. I would have a Victoria's Secret for Men if I could. I really feel it enriches one's gender. I was far to obsessed with women as a youth and adolescent, even young adult to ever sit around thinking about a man's gender and all those really affecting and graceful personalities men have. Help me Lord. But, I grew to appreciate my own more, and over time the qualities and aspects of Dapperhood and Dandywood with it.Now, I know men can be very sensitive, yes - of all orientations, but we are not Victorians when a naked man's body no matter how elite, strong, and divined it was wasn't hittin' on enough to get a woman to want to watch it, but please beware - one misses the spectacular quality of malehood.I do suggest, and I was a member of the site too at one time. There is more than meets the eye, I promise you - at a magnificent price.

I don't particularly have a suit fetish but the models are absolutely flawless. These are real MEN, guys with natural bodies and hair on their chests not the pink, shaved boys or steroid clones that you usually find in male nude photography. And I can't say enough about how stunningly handsome the models are. I have about two dozen books in this genre and I have never seen a collection of more uniformly beautiful male models in one book before. They really take the breathe away...its hard to believe such good looking men can even exist. And though I would have rather seen them out of their suits at least the most interesting part is disclosed in most of the photos so this book is more than just another tease. Its really been years since I've enjoyed a photo book this much. I'd give it 10 stars if I could.

From the boys at Men At Play and very well done! Featuring hot models suited to perfection involved in various stages of dress, undress and "suited" adult activities! Not for everybody but if you're into the whole "guys in suits" thing, this is very well done!

This book made me speechless. The premise (what's under those business suits) is a great one and the photography is wonderful. The models actually looked like they were enjoying this job! Wow. I'm female and thought this book was very hot. Wasn't sure what to expect when I bought it but was certainly NOT disappointed!

The book cover gives a trend of the pics within--dressy with a side of kink. This table-topper is a celebration of haberdashery and male form.

I gave this to my nephew on his 4th birthday thinking that his 1st reaction after opening it and saw it was a book would be to toss it aside and continue to excitedly rip open all his new toys. After the novelty of those wore off and he settled down and was willing to sit still to give the book a chance, only THEN would he fall in love with it. (He's not easy to impress for a 4 year old lol) Much to my surprise, he opened up the adorable box it comes in and his eyes lit up as he put on the tickle monster mitts and immediately asked me to read the book to him (twice and then tried to get me to read it to his dad because he thought it was the funniest book ever) all while he still had at least 15 big toys waiting to be unwrapped. He wore the mitts around for hours showing them off to everyone at his party and tears were shed by quite a few of his friends who wanted their own mitts!

Once in a while you come across that book that just has that extra magic in it.. one that your kids look forward to when you bring it out and one that they take extra special care of.Tickle Monster is one of those books. I have seen my three kids giggle, laugh and bond while they read this book to each other. They each have to have a turn being the Tickle Monster and wearing the gloves and I am amazed that at that age range (a 2 year old, 6 year old and 9 year old) they each find something special and inclusive about it. We love this book and recommend it to all our friends.It makes for a very special birthday gift with its beautiful magnetic box, soft and cuddly gloves and beautiful book.

This has become the nightly reward for our almost two year old for picking up her toys before bed. Whether it is only her and I or my husband and older daughter join in we have a great time giving her tickles every time the word tickle is read aloud. The well made box and fuzzy mitts allows us to make it an event not just simply a story. I can't say it is the best written book ever but it is silly and fun and has a mostly great rhythm. Highly recommend for toddlers!

Super cute story and so fun to be able to interact. I have given this as a shower and as a birthday gift and always get the most positive response! I don't always get to be there for the story telling, the fun part, but it has been my go to shower gift because of the positive response I have received from those who have. Everything is as pictured and appears super sturdy time with a young child prove destructive but when I received the book it appeared well crafted. The box appeared very durable with magnetic closure and could very easily be re-purposed.

My kids absolutely adore this book. We received this book as a gift several years ago and have used it so much that the pages were barely legible. We just purchased a new one and love it! The gloves are super soft and they fit my husband's huge hands but my kids can wear them too- so no matter who wants to become the tickle monster, the gloves will fit. The story is is adorable and the pictures are so bright and fun. I can't get enough of this book. We have had so many laughs from this book. I would definitely recommend this book for anyone with young kids or grandchildren.... you won't be sorry.

I can't even begin to tell you how much my daughter loves this book. This is definitely her absolute favorite book and between you and I, it's my favorite too. I have read this book to her so many times that I pretty much have it memorized.Just last week we had a book baby shower for a co-worker and of course this was the only book I wanted to get for them and I actually stood in front of everyone and read it aloud to all the adults as well.If you are ever in need of a gift idea for a mom to be or even a toddler gift, this should be the first on your list.

I love this book and interactive concept but the book I received is of poor quality. The binding has already began to come apart and it's only been read about 15 times. The mittens and box it came with are of better quality. I hope this book hold up over time because my little monster loves the story.

I was really skeptical about this. I bought it for my friend's child but half-suspected it was some b.s. gimmick churned out by a celebrity with too much time on her hands. How wrong I was. She LOVED it. Her mother read it to her Christmas morning and they had the best time with it. Those kids were showered with gifts, everything from Fingerlings to a trampoline, but this was the best of them all.

Has some really cool photos and I also like the quotes in it from urban explorers. It's not completely full of photos, so be aware that there is a bit of text, and also many of the photos have the contrast upped and are otherwise touched up in post-production, so they're not completely natural straight out of the camera but it gives them an even grittier look. A cool book, overall, showcasing a variety of interesting places that most people will never otherwise see, as well as giving a sense of the art of UE photography.The cover also has a nice solid matte feel, for those of you who care about that!

I thought I would buy this book after Whitey was killed in prison to understand the biggest name in Boston crime and politics in the past last couple of decades. Not only did it reinforce what a ruthless and heartless family the Bulgers were but I learned many things I did not realize that had happened even though I grew up in Massachusetts. Howie does a great job detailing the paths of both brothers with a lot of detail. A good read and you will be astonished at what you learn. Highly recommended!!!!

I read this book after enjoying the movie, "The Departed." Howie Carr has certainly mastered the art of delivering a fast paced story, one that wraps inuendo around facts, dates, and personalities. He knows his subject matter, the Bulger Brothers, like a butcher knows a steer, and, he carves it up to a fare-the-well.The narrative opens with Billy, the politician brother, testifying before a congressional committee where he doesn't come off well taking the 5th. His brother Whitey, meanwhile, tops the FBI list of America's most wanted criminals spawning a cottage industry of global Whitey spottings over the last decade. Howie Carr clearly doesn't think much of Billy's lifetime of political fixings and seeks to tie him to his psycho criminal brother in the Bostonian version of a politico-fandango, true or otherwise. It's in a way too bad as Billy has risen from the shanty Irish mean streets of "southie" to be president of the state senate followed by a stint as president of UMass. Alas, his life of political corruption, shades of J.M. Curley's era, catches up to him, but not before he receives a handsome pension to ease his retiring years.Whitey, on the other hand, comes across for what he apparently is which is a pretty scary guy. He murders well over 50 people after getting out of Alcatraz in his early 20's. Carr leads the reader thru the various killings and maimings with the added feature of FBI corruption thrown in. Whitey was an FBI informant which made for a bad ending if you were his competitor in crime, and this is where Carr ties Billy to Whitey with the corrupted FBI agent fitting neatly into the mix, all a part of an all-star criminal class out of the southie end of Boston. And what a story it is as it reads like an endlessly repeating drive-by killing spree all juxtaposed with Billy's political operations shades of the Kennedy machine - ipso the Irish mob of Nicholson in the Departed marries the life of Danial Drew, he of Days of Erie fame. Nothing has changed, just the names.I'd recommend a book entitled, "the Bosses" to frame out the Billy side and perhaps Vinnie Teresa's, "My life in the mob" for the Whitey side. In any event it's a page turner which I looked forward to reading again after each time I had to put it down. All the Mass-politico names are there including Barney, Ted and J.F. Kerry. What a bunch!

If it wasn't for Howie Carr these two would have kept their undeserved reputations.......to a point. HOWIE IS the only one in the public eye that wasn't afraid to tell the real story. He also deserves respect as a lone voice in Boston against all the other corruption that continues to this day. This is the definitive book about the Brothers and their path of destruction whether it was mafia style murder or legalized laundering (Billy Bulger). An extremely interesting book about two terrible individuals, Whitey Bulger was a ruthless killer who thankfully will now DIE in prison, but his brother who has escaped justice is also a reprehensible figure who played the system to his full advantage, and is a great example of institutional corruption. Sadly he has escaped Justice, but at least they got Whitey. Hopefully Howie Carr is writing the latest version which will include the just completed Trial of Whitey Bulger.

Howie Carr has captured the essence the evil of Whitey Bulger and the complicity of his brother, Billy. As someone who lived in Southie during that period he gives vivid testimony that South Boston is not a place, its a state of mind!!Brilliant descriptive narrative. He joins Elmore Leonard and Tom Wolfe in the pantheon of American novelists that understand the difference between the real and the apparent in the human spirit. His "Hard Knocks" is a must read sequel.

Being from New Hampshire I couldn't care less about mass corruption. The whole state is a nightmare and always will be. I bought this book to get a clue about what Howie is always talking about with these Bulger people. And now that I've read it, I suggest that every Howie Carr devotee read it, just so you know what the heck he is so obsessed with (no offense Howie but nobody really cares about this stuff since 911). You will be amazed though at how many FBI and cops were/are on the take. This stuff is only supposed to happen in the movies. Old movies! I wish you success with the book Howie. I can listen to you online down here in Miami but it's not the same.

The title of this book is accurate... you're a dummy if you buy it. The authors must be paid by the word because there are lots and lots of unnecessary words in the text, including much superfluous bleating about how great the Ipad is. As far as concise instructions and explanations go, you'll have to look elsewhere for that. Just one of many examples: the Ipad is supposed to automatically connect to your WiFi router, and you don't need a book for that. If there are problems connecting, look on p. 270. It says you'll encounter a "bunch of nasty-sounding terms: DCHP, BootP..." etc etc etc. But instead of digging out the information and defining these nasty-sounding terms and telling the reader how to use them, the authors glibly inform us we'll "probably" never have to use this stuff, and if we do, summon a network administrator or techie friend. The whole book is that way. Save your money.

I received a new iPad as a gift and was at first excited. I'm sure those proficient in 'Apple-ease' found it a smooth transition. I am not familiar with the Apple systems and this book takes it for granted that I spend 30% of my income keeping up with the newest version. The book was not helpful at all for me. You may hiss and boo but as a greenhorn I wasted my money on a usually good series of tutorial books. I need the 'dumbest dummies' version and am sorry for my tech-illiteracy but the title is misleading, to be brief. Why the company cannot produce a users' manual that is realistic and applicable to the task at hand; namely, a user's manual.

This book made it possible to set up my IPad in a very short time, since I didn't buy it at an Apple store where they do that for you. It's dead-on with advice about apps, options, and things to avoid doing that can get a novice "stuck", since the IPad isn't as user-friendly as advertised. Like many of the other "Dummies" books like the one for Windows 7 and IPods, it's essential for ordinary people who aren't particularly adept at technology.

This is the perfect companion to your iPad if you've never had one. It goes over all features, and plainly explains how to use them, as well as providing tips and suggestions of possible uses for the apps. I bought y iPad basically to have internet when I travel, but knew it had to do more than just that for the cost. This book really lets you know how many useful features and uses your iPad has.

I bought this book for my mother who is 76 and had just gotten an ipad. It's written in easy to understand verbiage for someone who isn't as up-to-date on all the new electronic "toys" out there. I liked that it had pictures of the buttons it references which made it much easier to follow than the iPad user's manual (no surprise there!). Also, the book itself isn't a huge tome which makes it easier to pick up and read - a good thing for someone with limited body strength. All in all, I am extremely happy with this purchase.......more important my mother said it was great and she'll definitely use it!

This is a lovely packaged/presented collection of timeless children stories that I purchased for my niece. I'm sort of the poor, loser uncle so I hope she remembers I bought her something nice.

I absolutely love the quality of this book, it is well done, absolutely beautiful, amazing collection of these classic books! So excited to have them, read them and share them with others! It show cases her art and stories perfectly! I will include pictures, also if anyone likes history, I recommend listening to The History Chicks podcast on the life of Beatrix Potter, knowing about her life, her talent in art, and her love for animals among other things adds so much depth to these stories! I am not even kidding! The podcast isn't boring at all it's funny and interesting and made me love these stories all the more! Excited to have this beautiful edition to pass down to my children, and for a good price! Arrived on time as well, brand new, no damage!! Extremely Happy!!

For Beatrix Potter lovers, this book is a must. It has all the stories, with excellent reproductions of her original illustrations. There also are little prefaces that tell something about each particular stories publication. The quality of the paper, binding, etc. is first class.I read these stories to my children when they were little and look forward to reading them to my little grandson when he is old enough.

This is a beautiful series but had no number 7 and two number 11's. It was a gift to a grandchild shipped overseas so it was too difficult to return it.

We always borrow the single-book version from the library. They're in high demand so I decided to buy the full version. I was fully aware of the difference in format, but I was still a bit dismayed. The trouble is the suspense is gone with this format. Your kids will keep looking to the other pics further on in the story. I suggest you get this only after you've read many, or all, of the books, and just want to re-read for the pleasure of it. Or if (like me) you can't afford the boxed version yet. I do plan on getting the boxed set as a holiday present later this year. But I wanted to get this now. My kids are always asking to read their favorite stories. And I use this as a handy reference for homeschool copywork.

The Amazon Kindle version is miserable to read. The pictures are too small and the text is off with the pictures. Just buy this one in print.

If you're human you will love reading the quintessential children's stories by Beatrix Potter. In fact, if you are a grandparent you will love reading them even more. Every child should have her collection to save for their children. My grandchildren love this little library and believe it or not they take a book out then return it to its box. I think they are quite proud to own those 23 volumes of books exactly the right size for small hands. The art work is spectacular in this set. Let's face it children read not just for the story but the artwork too. I love all those little tales.

I was worried after reading some comments and reviews here on Amazon about these books, but the set I bought for my daughter is beautiful! We haven't made it through all of the books yet, but the ten we have read are perfect. Very detailed illustrations, perfect coloring, no fading or other issues that some people have had with these books. Very pleased.

I used to read these as a child and now that I have my own daughter i can't wait to read this to her. Beautiful book!
