So i got this out of a recommendation from my neighbor, and I was not disappointed. A lot of times for any entrepreneurial nooks you can tell that the author just talk the talk and never did that he is writing himself.This book is different.It is very detail, almost like step by step of how to host an airbnb with minimal friction. It is obviously that the author Rick Wong actually have been an Airbnb host and a successful one at that. He list out all the pain points and the specific tools/software you can use to get past these pain points. Overall great read, bravo to the author for writing this book

I am a retired military guy and combat veteran, familiar with many First Aid books, procedures, and styles. I found this to be an excellent book, in a compact form, that surpasses most other "fundamental" use-in-the-field "First Aid" books on the market. I like it so well that I have purchased both the paperback and the Kindle version.This book is laid out to allow the reader to easily find various topics and specific subject material in a very expedient manner. The first section after the "Introduction" discusses medical equipment and supplies for long-term storage and also for hiking or bug-out-bags. Other sections have in-depth descriptions of many medical conditions that one can expect to encounter at home or "out in the sticks". Additionally, The Survival Doctor frequently covers various options to deal with the specific problem at hand, to include the "pros" and "cons" of taking or not taking specific actions to solve the problem. Not only does he provide options, he frequently provides his educated opinion as to the probable outcome of using various options so that the reader can make a better-educated determination of which course of action to choose.Frankly, I find this to be a very sophisticated and informative book, written in everyday layman terms, for medical emergencies that one could expect to encounter away from medical facilities. I'm still reading through this, but the way it's written is less declarative then I'd like. It reads less like a medical journal and more of opinionated piece of work (where I'd prefer the first).It's also somewhat poorly organized in my opinion, but I guess it's hard to organize something like this.

This book has some of the best information at a moments notice. I have this book in my BOB, along with the recommended items to assure myself to be prepared for any emergency....especially if you are not within driving distance to a Hospital or Urgent Care Facility!This step-by-step information can help you or anyone with the knowledge of what to do and how! Whether a deep cut, broken bones, hypothermia or just a sprained ankle.....you will have the confidence to do what is needed to be done. I believe this will come in handy, especially when the SHTF.....For the information it has.....it is worth its weight in gold! I highly recommend this for everyone.....including a few Doctors I know!!!!

I bought two of these for my emergency kits and have read it cover to cover. I plan to do that again. This is solid first aid information that is usable. The author provides lists of the equipment one should have for various kinds of first aid kits depending on the scenario in which they would be carried and/or used. He's also got a very good blog that I've started following.I plan to buy two more copies of this book so I also have it for EDC and one for my wife.

I had originally purchased this book for the kindle app on my iPad, but I quickly realized just how valuable and well written it was and purchased the paperback version for our emergency first aid kit. Seriously, this book is so very wonderful and I feel it to be a must have.

I've tried a few different first aid books and this is my go to guide in a first aid situation. It is very practical, very well laid out, easily accessible information (quick reference) when you don't have time to fumble through pages to figure out what you need to do right now. It has good answers to most common first aid incidents.

I was looking for a book to be available after our future 7.0 earthquake on the Hayward fault. This fits the bill. I have no idea what will survive but I have a lot of first aid: house, cars, garage. The biggest issue is the best place to store everything. I also decided to quit trying to replace food every year or so and went with 30-year freeze dried. Nobody wants to eat it....now but we will see.

This is perfect inside and out! Small size great info. My husband is dr and he liked it.

I have used this book as one of a series of texts in a Master of Business Administration managerial accounting class. It serves well in this capacity and the four texts combined that I used (all in the Barron's series) were much less costly than a traditional textbook. I believe that the students will more likely retain these books as reference materials as well.

He is a prolific writer who covers finance, accounting and operations managment. I have yet to read a book by him that I did not enjoy. He uses examples and helps you understand new topics. His books are not reference books per se, but you keep them on your bookself to go back to when you forget how to complete a particular process.

Great books on financial management. It cover all about cost accounting, cost analysis and budgeting. This book is a great addition to my library. By great authors too.

This little book is a wonderful review of all the things you need to consider if you are doing accounting in a manufacturing concern. The ideas are applicable as well for service organizations but the examples are geared toward accounting for manufactured products. The authors talk about when or why you would use a certain type of costing method rather than just explain how it's done. For example, they explain the reason for using Just In Time costing and the benefits over traditional cost accounting and describe what performance measures you would use with each system. I'm only halfway through my libray copy but have decided to buy my own to keep for reference.

One of the very few if not the only Cost book for smaller businesses. Covers many cost accounting topics at a basic level with good real world examples. Good book for smaller businesses looking to improve their bottom line who don't have a large staff. Also a good book for managers unfamiliar with, or who need a brush up on the topics.

The author tries to cover too many areas. He should have focused on COST MANAGEMENT and BUDGETS and taken one or two examples and defined all variances analysis from beginning to end, Then he would have HAD a fine book. Examples skip from one to another with no correlation to accentuating COST ANALYSIS-BUDGET development and management.

Real cases study for all financial situation. Great for managers and Jr. Financial Analyst.

This book is beautiful. So very well made. The colors POP! The facts are fun. It’s definitely a great book.

My son is 10 months and loves this book. Fun colors and flaps, recommend. Only problem is it doesn't explain what hexidecimal notation is.

It’s cute each color has a flap. It’s a picture book, any won’t understand this. Honestly it would be helpful for a web designer though

Great baby shower gift for pregnant graphic/web designers!

I can't give it 5 because my granddaughter's only 13 months old. But at 13.5 months I'm certain she will be able to spot phony masterpieces, and define all wavelengths and characteristics of colors and other related radiation reflected bent or otherwise impacted by space-time, and gravity.I also gave her an aeronautical engineers children's book so she may stray into various types of fluid mechanics and drift away from photons etc.?

I thought this was a cute kiddie book. It is in some ways, but honestlythis has more adult info for parents to read while they teach colors to their kids.

I can use it on my desk tbh, little early for kids below 6
