Recipes didn't really seem to personify Colorado or give any information as to where they came from. Paper printed on is of poor quality and many of the recipes are written poorly - hard to follow. Some good recipes/ideas though if you want a general cookbook.
I am a vegetarian......my husband is not..he loves his meat. My friend who is an amazing cook bought this for us after having we had a wonderful dinner at their home which accommodated both my husband love for meat...and mine for vegetarian cuisine. This is definitely my "go to" cookbook and I have purchased it as gifts for friends and family. Light healthy , tasty foods with tons of savory flavor,

Lovely book. I have had several dishes from this cookbook and they were very good.
This book had some notes in it, and I found those useful also. I was introduced to this when I visited my son in Denver. Although I live in Dallas, I found that I can adjust the oven temperature and time for baking to work just great in Dallas.
Just glancing through this I found several recipes that will be not only easy but aesthetically pleasing to the eye. The cover is in fact what sold me when I first saw this at a library book sale. I immediately came home to order it via Amazon. It's a beauty!!Can't wait to try the recipes.
Colorado Collage is my favorite cookbook.It is the one I reach for the most and have made MANY of the recipes.They are all wonderful.Some are a little labor intensive, but most are not.I buy it often, for gifts.
Already had my own copy of this. Was so pleased to find it for a gift.
